This past Friday was the official Grand Opening of the Abington Visitor Center at the Waverly Community House. The Visitor Center is the latest development at the Comm & was constructed with the intention of bringing accessible archival, business, and event related information to the public in a modern educational facility. In the space, visitors will find: historical photographs & displays, local business flyers, historical site brochures, recreational information, and Comm merchandise. The Visitor Center was designed not only with an effort to highlight the Waverly Community House, but to provide guests with valuable information on all of the Abington area. The Visitor’s Center will remain in place indefinitely and will continue to feature many types of revolving exhibits and displays. It is our intention that this development will further our mission, by incorporating a modern learning center to service and accentuate the history and existing vibrancy of both the Comm and the Abington Community.
Come & see what we have to offer!
